So, I finally finished 1Q84 while stuck in the Vegas airport overnight this weekend, and honestly, I’m feeling pretty underwhelmed by it. I thought that maybe if I gave the story a few days to sink in I would change my mind, but I haven’t so far, and I’m beginning to accept the fact that I might not.  I love Murakami (love, love, love), but this book felt… different.
